Make your chilli in advance for. Halve the red peppers, remove the stalks and seeds and roughly chop. Turn the heat up a bit, add the meat to the pan and break it up with your spoon or spatula. Chilli con carne is traditionally made with minced beef, but hey, why not mix up the rules a little bit?
