Coarsely chop any extra-large chunks of peel in the marmalade.

- Place this vessel on top of the empty vessel or a grid. Close the lid without whistle and heat in heavy flame for five minutes.
- Then heat in medium flame for 30-35 minutes.
- Then switch off and give some standing time for five minutes.
- Poke a knife or Tooth pick and check if it is sticky. If it's sticky then cook again for 10 minutes.
- Warning : somewhere i read your not supposed to add water to the base of the cooker so i have added salt. some people add sand but that gives a bad smell.
- Actually my base of the cooker got burnt but you can clean it off. So no worries.I
