The ingredients needed to make Tomato chutney:
- Take 5 medium tomatoes
- Prepare 1 chopped onion

- Take 1 tsp oil for tadka
- Prepare 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- Get to taste Salt
Put everything in a pan, season to taste and stir well to combine. Pour into a sterilised jar and leave to cool. Heat gently stirring until the sugar has dissolved. Put all the ingredients, apart from the vinegar, in a preserving pan or large, deep saucepan.
Steps to make Tomato chutney:
- Boil the tomatoes with very little quantity of water
- Grind them on cooling and then strain it in a seiver
- Add salt and except oil add all the other ingredient
- Now with oil and cumin seeds add tadka to it
- Your chutney is ready serve with parantha

Place the pan over a medium heat. Slowly bring the mixture to a simmer, stirring constantly, until the sugar has dissolved.
