Peel and finely slice the onions, roughly chop the tomatoes and deseed and finely slice the chilli. Put everything in a pan, season to taste and stir well to combine. Pour into a sterilised jar and leave to cool. Heat gently stirring until the sugar has dissolved.

Instructions to make Tomato chutney:
  1. Cut tometoes into halves and have everything ready on counter.
  2. For red chutney: Add all the ingredients in a blender except for salt
  3. Take out in a bowl add salt mix and keep aside. It's ready to be served
  4. For green chutney: add all the ingrediengs in a blender except for salt. Blend and take out in a bowl.
  5. Add salt and mix. Ready to be served

Pour into a sterilised jar and leave to cool. Heat gently stirring until the sugar has dissolved. Put all the ingredients, apart from the vinegar, in a preserving pan or large, deep saucepan. Add half the vinegar and season. Place the pan over a medium heat.
