- Take 1-2 tsp oil
- Take 1/2 tsp mustard seeds

- Take 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- Take 1/4 tsp garam masala
- Take 1/4 tsp Amchur
- Prepare 1 tsp sugar
Peel and finely slice the onions, roughly chop the tomatoes and deseed and finely slice the chilli. Put everything in a pan, season to taste and stir well to combine. Pour into a sterilised jar and leave to cool. Heat gently stirring until the sugar has dissolved.
Instructions to make Tomato Chutney:
- Firstly grind the tomatoes and make a smooth paste.
- Heat oil in pan, add Hing, mustard seeds, kalonji and few curry Leaves.
- Then add ginger, garlic and green chillies into it. Sauté for few seconds.
- Then add tomato puréed, mix well and cook on medium flame.
- Add all the dry masalas and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- At last add sugar, mix gently and cook.
- Delicious Tomato chutney is ready to be served. Served this chutney with any kind of stuffed parathas.
Pour into a sterilised jar and leave to cool. Heat gently stirring until the sugar has dissolved. Put all the ingredients, apart from the vinegar, in a preserving pan or large, deep saucepan. Add half the vinegar and season. Place the pan over a medium heat.
