- Make ready 1 cup fine semolina 1/2 cup coconut powder 1 cup sugar 130 gram salted butter 300 ml milk Saffron 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder Pistachios Sugar pearls or any fondant decoration
Semolina Coconut Halwa - Dessert Halwa First brown the semolina in the ghee. When it is half browned, add the gram flour. Now cook on a low flame till a light brown colour is obtained. Keep stirring till the water is absorbed and the halwa is ready.

- In a pan melt the butter and add semolina - Roast until golden brown - Add coconut powder and roast for one minute - Add milk and stir until all milk is absorbed - Add sugar and stir until sugar is dissolved and the butter leaves side - Halwa is ready. Transfer in a serving dish and decorate. - I have decorated with knife and garnished with pistachios. Please use your imagination and garnish with any fruits, fondant dry fruits etc.
Now cook on a low flame till a light brown colour is obtained. Keep stirring till the water is absorbed and the halwa is ready. Sprinkle with nuts and crushed cardamoms. Add the saffron & the milk.
