- Massage the spice mixture onto the fish pieces, making sure each piece is well coated.
- Marinate and keep for 15 mins or even overnight.
- You can adjust the salt and spice level as per your taste!
- Heat some coconut oil in pan.
- Lightly fry some onions and some chopped cilantro until crisp in the oil and remove into a serving dish.
- Now fry the fish pieces and remove excess oil with paper towel and serve on the dish.
- Serve hot garnished with cilantro, onion slices and lemon wedges

This is a no-fail recipe for MILD, white, flaky, not greasy, and delicious fish for either sandwiches or as a main entree on a plate. Also, there is no drenching in egg wash involved in this recipe. Tilapia works best but Whitefish fillets are also great.
