One option is to fill the stuffing to one of the flattened sardine and sandwich it with another sardine on top and fry them, or in one sardine alone, fill the stuffing on one side and close with the other side firmly and fry them. (The recipe called for the first method of frying, but I went in my own way of frying, which is the second method)
