Put everything in a pan, season to taste and stir well to combine. Pour into a sterilised jar and leave to cool. Heat gently stirring until the sugar has dissolved. Put all the ingredients, apart from the vinegar, in a preserving pan or large, deep saucepan.

Steps to make Tomato chutney:
  1. Take a pan, add oil and cumin seeds, then add chopped chilli, crushed ginger garlic into it
  2. Now add chopped onion into it and cook it for a minute
  3. Now add salt, black salt, red chilli powder,and add chopped coriander leaves into it and mix all the ingredients properly.
  4. Take tomatoes and cook it on flame and when all sides cooked..keep it aside to cool
  5. Now peel off outer layer of tomato and crush it and then add cooked onion into it..and add anardana powder into it and black pepper powder and mix all.. it is ready to serve.

Heat gently stirring until the sugar has dissolved. Put all the ingredients, apart from the vinegar, in a preserving pan or large, deep saucepan. Add half the vinegar and season. Place the pan over a medium heat. Slowly bring the mixture to a simmer, stirring constantly, until the sugar has dissolved.
