- In a bowl add cream, vanilla essence,milk powder and sugar and mix well ensuring no lumps. - On low heat add ghee in a non-stick pan. Add in the milk mixture and keep stirring until smooth paste forms. This should take about 1 to 2 minutes.
- Set the gas to medium heat stirring continuously until the mixture starts leaving the pan. (when rolled between the thumb and index finger it should not stick)Add the pistachios, almond powder and cranberries and mix well. Let it cook for further minute or so. - Turn off the gas and transfer in the greased tray.
- Garnish with slivered pistachios and cranberries. - Set aside until set. This should take couple if hours. - Cut the burfi in desired shape. Enjoy
