Add the onion and cook till a light golden colour. Meanwhile boil water and cook the spaghetti as written on the package. Now, I personally used chopped canned tomatoes. Put water in saucepan to boil for pasta.

  1. Finely slice the onion and the garlic. Grate the cheese and, optionally, some lemon zest.
  2. Fill a pot with water, add salt and bring to a boil. Cook the spaghetti until it's al dente.
  3. While the spaghetti is cooking, coat a pan with olive oil. Fry the onion and garlic until the onion softens up and add a dash of balsamic vinegar.
