Now, since you can't have a bubble drink (tea or coffee) without the bubbles (which are black tapioca pearls called boba), let's talk about that first. I live in a pretty ethnically.

The ingredients needed to make Bubble coffee:
  1. Take 80 g tapioca starch
  2. Take 50 g water
  3. Prepare 50 g brown sugar

Ice cubes are recommended since bubble tea should be enjoyed as a chilled beverage. The very first time I tried cold brew coffee, I was in heaven. The same can be said about the first time I tried boba / bubble tea and coffee. You can imagine my sentiment after trying a combination of the two.

Instructions to make Bubble coffee:
  1. Melt the brown sugar with water. Boil it.
  2. Once the liquid is boiled, add half of the tapioca starch and quickly stir well.
  3. Switch off the heat. Add the remaining tapioca starch and mix well.
  4. Rub it on the table until it become a smooth dough.
  5. Cut the dough into small pieces and rub them into small balls. Put each ball into a bowl with tapioca starch to make sure they won't stick together.
  6. If the bubbles are not in the same size, pick the bigger one out, to ensure the boiling time is accurate.
  7. Boil the bubble in boiling water for 6 to 8 minutes.
  8. Put the bubbles into iced water so they can cool down quickly and avoid them from sticking to each other.
  9. You can add the bubbles to your favorite drink! Serve!

The same can be said about the first time I tried boba / bubble tea and coffee. You can imagine my sentiment after trying a combination of the two.
